It’s that time of year again when the air gets crisp, the leaves turn into a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors, and the pumpkin spice goes into overdrive. Halloween seems to come earlier every year – I mean, if your retailers are anything like mine, the Halloween items start hitting the shelves in early July. I can’t keep up – I’m still trying to plan my Fourth of July barbecue!

Ready or Not?

Whether you’re the type who somehow misses the signs of Halloween until the last minute or you’re the type that is buying up armloads of Halloween décor with the barbecue supplies, I think we can all agree that one of the best parts about Halloween is the parties. And let’s be real, if you’re the last-minute type, you’re probably at the party dressed as a “cereal” killer, and if you’re the early planner, you’re the one with the over-the-top decorations scaring the neighbors. Either way, let’s just embrace the Halloween spirit and have a wickedly good time!

A Great Reason to Retire from Trick-or-Treating

So, my little sister has officially retired from the trick-or-treat game – her costume game was too strong anyway, she was intimidating the neighbors. Now, we’ve started a new spooky tradition – the Halloween tea party. My sis loves her high teas, so we’ve added a ghostly twist. I tell you, watching her sip her tea while wearing a witch hat is a sight to behold. Who needs trick-or-treating when you can have a hauntingly good tea party, am I right?
