Course: Appetizer, Side Dish, Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 5 oz package of cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • 1 Tbsp dried dill weed

Equipment

  • 1 Mixer or Food Processor To make short work of this recipe, check out our recommendation in our blog above.

Method

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix, and dried dill in a mixing bowl or food processor until creamy and smooth.
Sandwiches
  1. Spread on your favorite bread and add chunks of cucumbers to the inside of the sandwich.
  2. For a decorative look, cut crust off of bread and instead of putting cucumber on the inside of the sandwich, adhere a cucumber slice to the outside of the sandwich with a small dab of spread.
Dip
  1. Remove the skin from the cucumbers, slice and serve around the bowl of dip. Allow guests to use the cucumbers as their dipping devices.
  2. For cracker, bread, or pita bread dipping lovers; coarsely chop cucumbers and add to the dip. Surround the bowl of dip with crackers or bread as desired.
  3. This dip is delicious on more vegetables than cucumbers. Feel free to be adventurous and make this dip the center of your next vegetable tray!
